Movie Poster Spuffy Manips
19th-Feb-2008 08:38 pm

After falling in love with maharet83’s gorgeous The Black Dahlia manip I thought I’d post something movie related too. These are Spuffy (surprise, surprise!) and to stay true to my policy of stumbling recklessly between styles, themes and tunes they’re completely different from what I’ve posted so far.

Click on the thumbnails to see them better.

Waaaaa those are stunning! That first one is inspired, and that second one? Well, I'm chuckling here, because I've considered writing a crack!fic about Stardust, only starring Buffy and Spike because... well, funny *grin*

...and now I wanna write something for that first one. Damned you *shakes fist*

Hee! Inspiration can be a bitch, huh? It hits you whenever it pleases and screw everything else. I'd apologise for the inconvenience...except that I'm a selfish ficjunkie who's ready for all kinds of nasty things in order to get the poor writers writing! :D

((So please, please, please write that crack!fic! I love Stardust (the book, haven't actually seen the movie yet) and I love Buffy and Spike so... Pretty please and a cherry on top?!))

Anyway, thank you for the lovely feedback. I'm really glad you like them both. And if you ever need banners of some sort for the said fics of yours...well, I'd be honored.

Sorry to say there won't be any ficcing on me for at least a week, since we're going home soon. I have a ton of stuff to wash(walls, ceilings, everything). Also, silly little me signed on to a fictathon *headdesk* and it's due only a few days after I get home *head? meet desk yet again*

Other way around for me. I've seen the movie, but haven't read the book, which is odd. I love lovelove Gaiman. Great movie though! I'll probably make it a regular for christmas from now on. I felt it had that great whimsical and childlike quality, I was grinning so much throughout it.

Oh wow, sounds like you'll have your hands full and then some in the near future. My heads about to meet the desk just reading about your schedule. I mean - man, that's one hell of a schedule!

So don't you worry about the fics. I didn't mean to press you (I might be bad but not that bad) but to express my enthusiasm. To say that if you'll ever write something with that premise - being it sooner or later - I'd love to read it.

And Neil Gaiman's great! I especially love his novels (a bookworm, me) but I'm really keen on everything Sandman related too.

Hmph. Now I feel like I can't live a day without seeing that movie. Damn! I wonder if there's a place where I could get it in this teeny weeny town I'm living in...

Those look really cool. I can't decide which one I like better.

Thank you! I'm glad you like them. And what comes to naming favorites, I couldn't really decide between these two either. I find them so different atmospherewise (<-is that even a word?) that I end up changing my mind all the time. (And there are moments when can't help but to think that I've totally botched them both...but it usually passes when stop being an idiot.) :)
